How you watch K-Time on a Hisense smart TV depends on which system your Hisense runs — and both paths are included in your subscription at no extra cost. A Hisense Google TV installs the native app; a Hisense VIDAA TV uses a free IPTV app. Here is each one.

Device Hisense smart TV (Google TV or VIDAA)
Google TV model Native K-Time app from ktime.app/k
VIDAA model Free SS IPTV app + playlist link
Server / playlist ktime.app/iptv
Cost Included in your K-Time subscription
What you get Live Persian channels, movies and series

Does my Hisense run Google TV or VIDAA?

Check the home screen first, because it decides your setup. A Hisense Google TV (or Android TV) shows rows of cross-service recommendations and signs in with a Google account — many recent Hisense models sold in North America ship this way. A Hisense VIDAA TV uses Hisense’s own, simpler home screen with its own app store. Google TV models get the native K-Time app; VIDAA models use a free IPTV app. Both reach the same Persian library.

How do I watch K-Time on a Hisense Google TV?

On a Hisense Google TV, install the native K-Time app — it is the best experience and takes about three minutes:

  1. On the TV, install the free Downloader app from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open Downloader and enter ktime.app/k to download the K-Time app.
  3. Approve the install, then sign in once with your subscription account.

This is the same path as any Android TV or Google TV, with large posters, a remote-friendly layout and a one-click launch. If you prefer an IPTV app instead, TiviMate with your K-Time username and password also works.

How do I watch K-Time on a Hisense VIDAA TV?

On a Hisense VIDAA TV, use the free SS IPTV app with a playlist link built from your own login, because VIDAA has no free Xtream-login app:

  1. On the TV, open the VIDAA app store and install SS IPTV (free).
  2. Build your playlist link with your own K-Time username and password: https://ktime.app/iptv/get.php?username=YOUR_USERNAME&password=YOUR_PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus
  3. In SS IPTV, open Settings → Add Playlist and add it by URL (you can enter it from a computer via SS IPTV’s ss-iptv.com portal, which is easier than typing on the remote).
  4. Save, and SS IPTV loads your K-Time channels, movies and series.

This is the same method our Samsung and LG guides use, since VIDAA, Tizen and webOS all take a playlist rather than a login.

Is there an easier option for an older Hisense?

If your Hisense is older or you would rather not fiddle with either path, a cheap Fire TV Stick in the HDMI port turns it into a Fire TV with the native K-Time app and a free login. For a setup-free start, the pre-configured K-Time دستگاه sold at Iranian shops in the Greater Toronto Area comes ready to use — see setting up Persian TV for parents. The master setup guide compares every device.

Can I use my K-Time account on a Hisense TV and elsewhere?

Yes — your subscription counts the Hisense TV as one of the devices on your account, whichever system it runs, and the same login works on a phone, in a browser, or on another TV. There is no separate fee, and your watch history stays in sync across every screen, so the film you start on the Hisense is waiting where you left off on your phone.

Do I need a VPN or an Iranian card?

No — K-Time on a Hisense TV needs no VPN and no Iranian bank card. There is no geo-block, so nothing to toggle, and the subscription takes any foreign card. This is the structural difference from Filimo and Namava, which license for inside Iran and require an Iranian IP and a Shetab card. Our guide to watching Persian TV outside Iran explains why a diaspora-built service is the only one that works abroad without workarounds.

Watching on K-Time

Pick the path that matches your Hisense: install the native K-Time app from ktime.app/k on a Google TV model, or use free SS IPTV with a playlist link on a VIDAA model. Either way you sign in with your own K-Time username and password. New to K-Time? Create an account first — one subscription, the big screen, no VPN.
