Is K-Time legit, and who runs it?

K-Time is an independent streaming service for the Iranian diaspora, online since 2024. What you subscribe to is a real, working catalogue — more than 2,300 Iranian films, 450+ Iranian series, 7,200+ Persian-dubbed international titles and 11,500+ carrying Persian subtitles, and more than 300 Persian-language live channels — all streamable in any web browser and on native Android TV and phone apps. Payments are processed by Stripe, the global payment company also used by many major services, so your card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our own servers. The catalogue and the Ktime Journal are maintained by the Ktime team, who verify titles, cast and year against multiple sources before publishing. How does billing work, and what does it cost?

Billing is handled entirely by Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars: CA$9.99 per month, CA$54.99 for six months (about CA$9.17 a month, roughly 8% off), or CA$99.99 per year (about CA$8.33 a month, roughly 16% off). One subscription covers one screen at a time — switch freely between your TV, phone and laptop. You are charged when you sign up, and the plan renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Foreign cards work — Visa, Mastercard and American Express issued in the US, Canada, Europe or the UK are all accepted, and Stripe converts to your card currency at your bank rate. There is no separate setup fee and no hidden add-on: the price you see is the price you pay.

How do I cancel, and what happens to my access?

You can cancel yourself at any time — there is no phone call and no retention gauntlet. Open your account in the web app at ktime.app/app/settings, choose to manage or cancel your subscription, and confirm; the built-in Stripe billing portal is also linked there for managing your card. Cancelling stops the next automatic charge, and your access stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for — you are never cut off mid-month. There is no cancellation fee. If you would rather not do it yourself, email Ktime Support at [email protected] and we will process the cancellation for you. You can re-subscribe later at any time.

Do you offer refunds?

If something went wrong — a double charge, a renewal you did not mean to keep, or a problem you could not resolve — contact Ktime Support at [email protected] and we will look into it. Refunds are reviewed case by case rather than issued automatically, so please write to us and explain what happened. Because access continues to the end of a period you have already paid for, cancelling before your next renewal date is usually the simplest way to avoid a charge you do not want.

Is there a free trial?

No — K-Time does not offer a free trial, and we would rather say so plainly than advertise one that does not exist. The monthly plan at CA$9.99 is the low-commitment way to try it: subscribe, watch as much as you like, and if it is not for you, cancel before the next month and keep access until your period ends. You are only ever billed for time you chose to keep.

What devices does my subscription cover?

One subscription covers every way K-Time plays. Watch in any modern web browser at ktime.app/app with nothing to install; install the native app on Android TV, Google TV, Amazon Fire TV, Nvidia Shield or Chromecast with Google TV; or use the Android phone and tablet app on the go. Samsung and LG run no K-Time app, so they sign in with your K-Time username and password in the free Media Station X player — it is included with your subscription at no extra cost. Apple TV and Roku run no K-Time app either: on both you cast to the TV from your phone, and for a dependable picture on those TVs an inexpensive Android TV / Google TV stick runs the app directly. You watch on one screen at a time, and switching between devices is free — signing in on a new one simply ends the oldest session.
