What is Lost Sofia about?
Sofia lives most of her romantic life on the page, measuring real relationships against the ones she finds in Jane Austen's novels and never quite finding a match. Then a borrowed cell phone triggers something nobody can explain, and she wakes up somewhere that looks a great deal like the nineteenth-century world she's spent years reading about. Taken in by the household of the charming Ian Clarke, Sofia spends her time there chasing every possible route back to her own century and her own life. The trouble is that her heart doesn't seem especially interested in cooperating with that plan, and the pull of the world she has landed in — and the man at the center of it — keeps complicating a return that should, in theory, be simple.
