Years after giving up his powers to live an ordinary life, Justin Russo is settled with a spouse and kids, running a modest household far from the sparks and spells of his younger years. That calm breaks when his sister Alex shows up with Billie, a headstrong young wizard-in-training who needs a mentor. Justin is pulled reluctantly back into the world of enchantments, torn between protecting the mortal life he built and guiding the next generation through the same rites of passage he once fumbled through himself. Family dinners turn into crash courses on spellcraft, sibling rivalry resurfaces, and Justin has to figure out how much of his old self he is willing to let back in.
