Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings once had it all: fame, money, a career at the top of professional football. Now he's broke, disgraced, and sentenced to community service after a reckless run-in with the law. The court hands him an unlikely assignment, coaching a scrappy Pop Warner team of kids from his own old block, a group with more attitude than discipline and a losing streak nobody expects him to fix. Jaycen wants nothing to do with it at first, treating the gig as a formality to get through before returning to whatever's left of his old life. But the kids don't let him coast, needling him about his fall from grace and forcing him to actually show up for practice. Somewhere between the arguments, the terrible plays, and a neighborhood watching to see if he'll bail again, Jaycen starts rebuilding something he didn't know he'd lost: a reason to care about people other than himself.
