The year is 2001. Two new brides, both veiled for their wedding journeys, board the same night train home with their husbands and end up swapped without anyone noticing until the platform empties out. One young wife finds herself stranded with a stranger's family, improvising her way through a household that expects someone else entirely. The other lands with a kind-hearted vendor who shelters her while the search for her real husband stalls out in bureaucratic confusion. As days pass, both women start making choices no one back home would have predicted, and a dogged local police officer begins to notice that nothing about this case adds up. What began as a farce about swapped identities becomes something quieter: two young women testing how much room they actually have to decide their own futures.
Cast & crew
Nitanshi Goel and Pratibha Ranta anchor the film as the two mismatched brides, with Sparsh Shrivastav playing the bewildered new husband still piecing together what happened.
