What is The Curse Of The Necklace about?
Frank and Laura's marriage has come apart under the weight of his drinking, and Frank is desperate for a way back into his family's life. He thinks he has found it in an antique necklace, tucked away since 1938 in a police evidence bag, that he hopes will win Laura's forgiveness. The gift instead pulls the whole household into danger: the necklace carries the restless presence of a boy who died generations ago, and his hold over the object grows stronger the longer it stays in the house. As strange incidents escalate around Laura and her daughters, the family has to work out what the piece actually wants before its influence spreads any further. Domestic tension and inherited menace intertwine as the film moves toward its ending.
