Director: Bret Haaland
A holiday-special coda to The Bad Guys finds Mr. Wolf's reformed crew tangled in one last streak of trouble just as Christmas is about to arrive in the city.
What is The Bad Guys: A Very Bad Holiday about?
With the annual Holiday Heist-tacular threatening to collapse, Mr. Wolf and his gang — Snake, Shark, Piranha and Tarantula — realize their old criminal instincts keep resurfacing right when the whole city is counting on them to spread cheer instead of chaos. Diane Foxington, now working alongside them, tries to keep the group focused as their attempts to save the holiday spiral into slapstick mishaps. What starts as a simple favor turns into a race against the clock to patch up a citywide celebration before midnight, testing whether the gang's fresh start as good guys can survive the pressure of the season.
Cast & crew
Michael Godere voices Mr. Wolf here, joined by Ezekiel Ajeigbe, Raul Ceballos, Chris Diamantopoulos and Mallory Low as the rest of the gang, with Zehra Fazal, Keith Silverstein and Kari Wahlgren filling out supporting roles in this short spin-off from the animated feature.
Context & significance
Directed by Bret Haaland and released in 2023, A Very Bad Holiday is a short special rather than a full feature, running under half an hour as a seasonal follow-up to the original Bad Guys film. It keeps the same hand-drawn-meets-CG visual style and fast verbal comedy of the feature while compressing the plot into a tight, holiday-themed caper built for a quick watch.
Where & how to watch
The short is available on K-Time with Persian dubbing, so it can be watched in Farsi without needing subtitles. Streaming it requires a free K-Time account login, while the film's page here can be read without signing in — part of a platform built around a Farsi-language viewing experience for Persian-speaking audiences abroad.
