What is Sea Fever about?
Sea Fever puts a marine biology student on a West of Ireland trawler for a research trip that turns into a fight for survival. Once the boat drifts into open water, a glowing organism attaches itself to the hull and finds its way into the ship's water supply. What starts as a strange sighting becomes a spreading biological threat, and the crew has to decide how far they will go to stop it from reaching land. Isolation on the open sea, already unsettling on its own, turns the vessel into a closed trap with nowhere left to run.
About the cast
Hermione Corfield plays the student whose research trip goes wrong, alongside a small trawler crew that includes Ardalan Esmaili, Olwen Fouéré, Jack Hickey, Elie Bouakaze, Dougray Scott, Connie Nielsen and Dag Malmberg.
