What is Rebel Moon Part 2: The Scargiver about?
On the farming moon of Veldt, Kora and the fighters she recruited in the first film prepare for the counterattack they promised the villagers who took them in. Regent Balisarius has run out of patience, and Admiral Atticus Noble's forces are closing in before the harvest season ends. Farmers who once only defended their own fields now have to decide how far they will go alongside soldiers, mercenaries, and exiles who barely trust one another, let alone the cause they've been pulled into. The film alternates between quieter character beats -- old grudges, half-told histories, a village bracing for war -- and large-scale battle sequences built around Snyder's signature ramped slow motion. Sofia Boutella's Kora carries most of the emotional weight of the story, while Anthony Hopkins supplies narration that widens the mythology beyond what's on screen.
Cast & crew
Boutella anchors the ensemble as Kora, opposite Ed Skrein as the vengeful Atticus Noble and Djimon Hounsou as the war-scarred General Titus. Michiel Huisman, Staz Nair, Bae Doona, and E. Duffy round out the makeshift resistance forming on Veldt, and Anthony Hopkins lends his voice to both the Jimmy character and the film's framing narration.

The Scargiver is the second half of a story Snyder originally shaped as a Star Wars pitch before reworking it into its own original universe. It carries Snyder's familiar visual signature -- desaturated color grading, ramped speed changes, operatic staging -- applied here to a fantasy-western frontier rather than a comic-book setting.
