Years after going undercover as a suburban neighbor, JJ finds himself talked into chaperoning a class trip by Sophie, the teenager who once blew his cover and has since become something like family. What starts as a routine overseas excursion spirals fast: Sophie and JJ are swept into a plot aimed at the head of the CIA, David Kim, and his son Collin, who happens to be Sophie's closest friend. Old instincts kick back in as JJ has to protect a group of teenagers while untangling a scheme that reaches well beyond a school itinerary, all while trying to keep Sophie from getting any more involved than she already is.
