Director: Eric Fogel
Metro City's reformed blue hero is dragged back into old habits when his former villain crew resurfaces with a plan to launch the entire city into orbit.
What is Megamind vs The Doom Syndicate about?
After trading in world domination for a hero's cape, Megamind now spends his days keeping up appearances as Metro City's protector, a role that still doesn't come naturally to him. That balancing act gets harder when the Doom Syndicate, the gang of former evil teammates he left behind, resurfaces with a scheme aimed squarely at the city itself: launching it to the moon. Megamind has to keep his villainous instincts in check long enough to pull his scattered allies back together before the countdown runs out. Along the way, the animated feature leans into fast-paced action, oddball gadgets, and a steady stream of jokes aimed at genre tropes it clearly enjoys poking fun at, all while following its blue-skinned lead as he figures out what being a hero actually demands of him.
