What is Knuckles about?
Knuckles has spent his life mastering the ancient combat traditions of the Echidna warriors, disciplines built for a world that mostly no longer exists. When he agrees to take on Wade Whipple as his protégé, he expects a straightforward job: pass on his skills, keep his guard up, move on. Wade turns out to be an eager but wildly unqualified student, and the mismatch between Knuckles' rigid warrior code and Wade's easygoing, chaotic approach to life becomes the engine of the story.
