Cape Cod lawyer Elliot Campbell has never stopped mourning the daughter he lost, and when word reaches him of an isolated island where the dead are said to linger, he cannot resist the pull. But the island's promise comes with a cost, and as Elliot spends more time within its reach, the line between comfort and danger starts to blur.
