Easiest way (about 2 minutes): Install Smarters Player Lite (free) on the Apple TV, choose Login with Xtream Codes, and enter Server
ktime.app/iptvwith your own K-Time username and password — done. There is no separate K-Time app for Apple TV, so this free player is the way.
You can watch K-Time on an Apple TV, and it is included in your subscription at no extra cost. Because there is no native K-Time app for Apple TV, the path is the free Smarters Player Lite app with your K-Time login. Here is the setup.
| Device | Apple TV (tvOS) |
| Free app | Smarters Player Lite |
| How you sign in | Xtream login (username + password) |
| Server | ktime.app/iptv |
| Cost | Included in your K-Time subscription |
| What you get | Live Persian channels, movies and series |
How do I watch Persian TV on an Apple TV?
To watch Persian TV on an Apple TV, install the free Smarters Player Lite app and sign in with your K-Time account. There is no native K-Time app for Apple TV, so this free IPTV player is the route, and it reaches the same library. The steps:
- On the Apple TV, open the App Store and install Smarters Player Lite (free).
- Open the app and choose “Login with Xtream Codes” (sometimes “Xtream Codes API”).
- Enter your details:
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Server | ktime.app/iptv |
| Username | your K-Time username |
| Password | your K-Time password |
- Save it, and Smarters Player Lite loads your K-Time channels, movies and series.
You already know your login — it is your K-Time username and password, the same one you use to sign in. You do this once; after that, the app opens straight to your library. (If you would rather not type your password into the app, ktime.app/app/tv gives you a one-time access code to use in its place.)
Is there a native K-Time app for Apple TV?
No — there is no native K-Time app for Apple TV, and no AirPlay support from the K-Time app, so on an Apple TV you use the free Smarters Player Lite app with your K-Time Xtream login. This is the same situation as iPhone and iPad, where there is also no native K-Time app — the iPhone and iPad guide covers those. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply an Apple TV app exists.
Can I just watch in the browser instead?
The Apple TV has no general web browser, so the browser route does not apply on the Apple TV itself — Smarters Player Lite is the way to get K-Time on that screen. On a nearby iPhone, iPad, or laptop you can still open ktime.app/app in any browser and watch there, which is handy for a quick film without setting up the Apple TV. The master setup guide compares the browser and the IPTV-app routes for every device.
Which Apple TV models work, and can I use more than one?
Both current Apple TV models work with K-Time through Smarters Player Lite — the Apple TV HD and the Apple TV 4K (every generation). The setup is the same on each, and even the older Apple TV HD handles K-Time fine. Your subscription counts the Apple TV as one of the devices on your account, alongside a phone or the browser, so there is no separate fee for the big screen. If you also sign in on an iPhone or iPad or in a browser, they share the same K-Time login and the same Persian library, so you can start a film on one screen and finish it on another.
What other apps work on Apple TV?
Besides Smarters Player Lite, the Apple TV App Store has other IPTV players that take the same Xtream login — iPlayTV, GSE Smart IPTV and TiviMate all work. Enter Server ktime.app/iptv with your username and password in any of them; they reach the same K-Time library, so choose the layout you prefer.
Do I need a VPN or an Iranian card?
No — K-Time on Apple TV needs no VPN and no Iranian bank card. There is no geo-block, so nothing to toggle, and the subscription takes any foreign card. This is the structural difference from Filimo and Namava, which license for inside Iran and require an Iranian IP and a Shetab card. Our guide to watching Persian TV outside Iran explains why a diaspora-built service is the only one that works abroad without workarounds.
Watching on K-Time
Once Smarters Player Lite is signed in, the Apple TV opens to the full K-Time library — hundreds of live Persian channels plus the latest Iranian films and series of 2025. Sign in with your own K-Time username and password. New to K-Time? Create an account first, then sign it into the Apple TV — one subscription, the big screen, no VPN.
