David Hendrix left tactical work behind, but the past has a way of following people who used to carry a badge and a rifle. He's assigned to babysit Brody Walker, an actor doing research for a role, on what should be an uneventful tour of a police training compound. That plan collapses fast: a team of mercenaries hits the facility, cutting the ride-along short and turning David and Brody into the only two people standing between the attackers and whatever they came for. Stuck inside a building designed to train people for exactly this kind of confrontation, the pair have to use every trick the compound has to offer just to survive the night, let alone figure out who sent the mercenaries and why.
