Synopsis
After the death of his father, Saleh (Manouchehr Vosough) is responsible for providing for his aunt and mother (Carmen). Saleh and his friend Adnan (Bahman Mofid) are interested in pearls (Haleh Nazari), and Adnan, who is Saleh's nurtured salt, gives up his interest so that Saleh can marry Morvarid. Ibad (Siamak Atlasi), the owner of a cafe in the port, also hangs on to pearls and forbids Saleh from marrying him. Saleh goes to the sea to catch pearls.
