What is Aile Arasında about?
Fikret, a jittery and neurotic man, and Solmaz, a tavern singer, both walk out of decades-long relationships on the very same day and then cross paths through a comic twist of fate. Their fragile new arrangement is tested when Solmaz's daughter Zeynep decides to marry a young man from Adana. To keep up appearances for the groom's proud, tradition-minded relatives, the ever-anxious Fikret finds himself playing the performance of his life as a stand-in patriarch. What was meant to stay a small family affair balloons into a large event, forcing the odd pair to survive gun-toting in-laws, a kebab-empire family and one near-disaster after another.
