What is Anora about?
Ani works nights at a Manhattan club when a client's son, Vanya, sweeps her into an impulsive marriage after only a few chaotic weeks together. For a moment the arrangement looks like a solved problem for both of them, until Vanya's family in Russia hears the news and refuses to accept it. Fixers are dispatched to New York with one goal: undo the marriage before it becomes a lasting embarrassment, and Ani finds herself fighting to keep something she only just gained.
