What is The Negotiator about?
Danny Roman has spent years as his department's top hostage negotiator, the person called in when lives hang on the right words at the right moment. When he's suddenly accused of corruption and murder, he finds the system he served turning against him with no way to clear his name through normal channels. Convinced he's being set up, Danny takes over a government office and its occupants, using every trick of his own trade against the very colleagues he once trained alongside. He demands one specific outside negotiator he believes he can trust, forcing a tense psychological duel where each side tries to read the other before time, or patience, runs out.
