What is Extraction 2 about?
Tyler Rake is still recovering from the near-fatal wounds he took in Dhaka when a new assignment arrives: pull a family out of a Georgian prison and across a heavily guarded border before their captors close every exit. The extraction itself is only the opening move — getting the family out draws Tyler and his team into a running fight across rooftops, train cars, and city blocks against a crime organization that does not intend to let its hostages go quietly. Chris Hemsworth returns as Rake, working alongside a tightly knit crew that includes Golshifteh Farahani's Nik Khan, while Rudhraksh Jaiswal reprises his role from the first film. The film builds around sustained action sequences shot to feel continuous, following Tyler's team as the mission's scope widens well past a single prison break.
