What is Shrek 2 about?
Shrek and Fiona return from their honeymoon to an invitation from King Harold and Queen Lillian, who expect a proper princess and her prince to arrive for a celebratory dinner. What the king gets instead is an ogre son-in-law, a talking donkey tagging along uninvited, and a daughter who has permanently chosen swamp life over palace life. Harold, hiding a secret of his own, turns to a scheming fairy godmother and a suave cat-for-hire named Puss in Boots to try to undo the marriage and steer Fiona toward the vain Prince Charming instead. The plan sets off a chain of potions, disguises, and mistaken identities that forces the whole family to decide what actually makes someone worth loving.
