What is Your Christmas or Mine 2 about?
Hayley and James are a year further into their relationship, and this time the pressure comes from opposite directions at once. Both families expect the couple at their table on the same day, in different corners of the country, and neither side is willing to compromise on hosting duties. What starts as a scheduling headache spirals into overlapping obligations, last-minute travel, and relatives who each have their own agenda for the holiday. Hayley finds herself managing her own family's expectations while trying to keep James's side from feeling slighted, and the reverse holds just as true for him. Old tensions from the first Christmas resurface alongside new ones, including a work commitment that threatens to strand one of them entirely. As plans unravel and backup plans fail in turn, the pair have to decide whether keeping everyone happy is actually possible, or whether protecting their own relationship means disappointing people they love. The film treats the logistics of a shared holiday as its own kind of relationship test.

Asa Butterfield returns as James with a more harried, put-upon energy than the character showed the first time around, while Cora Kirk plays Hayley juggling both families with visibly fraying patience. Jane Krakowski and Alex Jennings add comic friction as relatives whose demands pull the couple in opposite directions.
