Woven through the large-scale engineering drama is a quieter thread about a father trying to secure his daughter's future inside a digital system built to preserve human consciousness after the surface becomes unlivable.
Cast & crew
Wu Jing returns to the franchise as one of the mission's central pilots, carrying much of the film's physical action, while Li Xuejian plays a veteran engineer whose experience anchors the project's technical credibility.
