What is Succession about?
Succession follows the Roy family as they run one of the largest media empires in the world while barely managing to run themselves. Logan Roy, the ageing patriarch who built the company, intends to hand control to his eldest son, Kendall Roy, setting off a struggle among the siblings that plays out across boardrooms, family gatherings and increasingly personal betrayals. Jesse Armstrong created the series, and the cast is led by Brian Cox as Logan alongside Jeremy Strong, Kieran Culkin, Sarah Snook, Nicholas Braun, Matthew Macfadyen, Hiam Abbass and Rob Yang, filling out a family and an inner circle where loyalty rarely outlasts the next opportunity to gain leverage.
