Mia has spent her whole life piecing together fragments of a mother she never knew. When a lead finally surfaces, she talks her reluctant friend Kyle into driving across Spain with her, no real plan beyond a name and a region on a map. What starts as an awkward, mismatched trip settles into something steadier as the two make their way through hill towns and coastal roads, arguing, laughing, and slowly opening up about the things they've each been avoiding.
