What is Midnight Family about?
At the center of the series is Marigaby Tamayo, a medical student who spends her days in class and her nights riding along on emergency calls with relatives who treat first response as the family business. Racing rival crews and city ambulances to reach patients first, the Tamayos navigate a system where speed, money, and survival are tangled together on every call. Marigaby is caught between the ideals she is learning in medical school and the messier realities of how care actually reaches people across a sprawling, unequal metropolis. Over its 60-minute episodes, the show uses one family's nightly routine to look at a much larger, contrasted city.

Joaquín Cosío leads the ensemble as the family patriarch, opposite Renata Vaca as Marigaby, whose split loyalty between medicine and the family's ambulance gives the show its emotional center.
