What is Laid about?
Ruby is thirty-something, single, and mildly convinced her love life has been a series of mistakes — until her exes start dying, one after another, in exactly the order she dated them. Panic sets in fast, both for her own safety and for the people still on the list. To make sense of the pattern before it reaches her, Ruby has to revisit relationships she'd rather forget, confronting old choices, awkward reunions, and the parts of herself she's spent years avoiding. Her best friend AJ gets pulled along for the investigation, turning grief and dark comedy into something almost like a road trip through Ruby's romantic past. The series balances its high-concept premise with a grounded look at how people process regret, using the mystery as a frame for something more personal about growing up and owning your mistakes.
