What is Justified: City Primeval about?
Fifteen years after leaving Kentucky, Raylan Givens has settled into life as a U.S. marshal in Miami, splitting his attention between fieldwork and an occasional stretch of fatherhood to a teenage daughter. A routine drive on a Florida highway turns into anything but routine when Raylan's path crosses that of Clement Mansell, a self-styled outlaw known on the street as the Oklahoma Wildman, whose reputation for violence is matched only by his knack for slipping away from the people trying to catch him. The encounter pulls Raylan north to Detroit, a city built on different rules than the ones he grew up with, where local law enforcement has already tried and failed to pin Mansell down. Adapted from Elmore Leonard's novel City Primeval, the series keeps the sharp, unhurried dialogue and moral shading that defined the original Justified while dropping its marshal into unfamiliar territory.

City Primeval belongs to the wave of limited-run revivals that take a well-loved character and place him somewhere the original show never went.
