Director: Taavi Vartia
Finders 2: Pharaoh's Ring sends a trio of young friends back into the field for a second treasure hunt, this time chasing down an ancient map and a stowaway who wants what they've found.
What is Finders 2 Pharaohs Ring about?
Pertsa, Kilu, and Pirkko return for another outdoor adventure, this time drawn into decoding a weathered old map rumored to lead to a lost artifact tied to ancient Egypt. Twin sisters Vappu and Kerttu tag along for the ride, adding fresh energy, and fresh trouble, to the group. Things get complicated once the scheming Annabella Pehko sneaks aboard uninvited, determined to claim the discovery for herself before the children can piece the mystery together.
Cast & crew
Pauli Kesala and Leon Ruokola return as the two boy leads from the first film, alongside Sara Vanska, with Kaarina Mattila and Klaara Mattila joining as the twin sisters new to this installment. Alina Tomnikov plays the conniving Annabella Pehko, while Joonas Vartia and Hannes Suominen round out the young cast. Director Taavi Vartia keeps the tone light and family-friendly throughout the adventure.
Context & significance
A Finnish-Greek co-production, Finders 2: Pharaoh's Ring is a sequel built for family viewing, following an original adventure film aimed at younger audiences. Much of the story unfolds outdoors, using real coastal and countryside locations to give the treasure hunt a tangible, hands-on feel rather than relying on heavy visual effects, in keeping with the light adventure tone of the first film.
