Gece arrives in Foça with her ambitions on hold, having chosen to move in order to support her sister, who has special needs. The relocation is meant to be practical, a temporary pause before she returns to her own life, but the town has other plans for her. She meets Özgür, a sailing instructor who is quietly devoted to caring for his brother, a young man with Asperger's syndrome, and the parallel between their lives gives their connection an unusual depth from the start. Through their shared routine of care and patience, Gece begins to absorb something from Özgür that changes how she sees her own responsibilities and her own boyfriend, Emir, waiting for her back home. Cast & crew
Sümeyye Aydoğan brings a grounded, searching quality to Gece as she navigates competing loyalties, while Caner Topçu plays Özgür with a patience that never tips into saintliness, keeping the character believably human. Emre Kınay and Atakan Hoşgören round out the ensemble, and director Serdar Gozelli lets the seaside setting breathe rather than rushing the story's emotional turns.
