Bursa Bülbülü is a Turkish musical comedy about a small-town singer whose dream of recording his own cassette leads him into a tangle of debt, family and unlikely companionship.
What is Bursa Bulbulu about?
Cengiz makes his living singing in a tea garden in Bursa, but his real passion is producing his own music on cassette. His fortunes take a turn when he meets Taşkın, the son of a famous late composer, and convinces himself that recording one of the composer's songs could be the break he has waited for. Borrowing money from his brother to chase the idea, Cengiz is pulled into a chain of mishaps and misunderstandings as he ends up sharing his days with Taşkın and Taşkın's sister Arzu. Warm-hearted and music-filled, the story follows an ordinary dreamer whose big plan keeps colliding with reality.
